Here's a round up of all the scores from across the divisions at our East Cowes Sunday 6 a side league last night. All teams were in attendance apart from Breddas who failed to appear for their game, we will be contacting them this week to find our what happened. It's quite rare that we have a complete no show without any notice or contact so it's extremely disappointing, thank you to the lads that helped out so Zidane's still got a game, much appreciated.
The big game in the Premier League game between two of the strongest sides down there on a Sunday night as Hardly Athletic took on Bacon Sane. It proved to be a close contest but it was Hardly who closed the gap to Sane in second with a 2-1 win. Zidane's remain top of the table with a points match win due to Breddas not being there, Zak Harris smashing in 7 goals in the points game. Applepie Turnovers and Mataz also picking up points match wins in the Prem this week due to the spaces in the divison.
Nathan Martin and James Gallop both scored hat-tricks as Gylfi Pleasures won 8-3 against second place FC Union Street who were missing a few of their regular players. OFOB Strollers are now up to third as they enjoyed a 9-3 victory against Vectis Rovers while Muga and AC Me Rollin drew 1-1. We Lose Every Week had a points match win as they played a friendly against Mataz.
Badder Roma put up a brave fight against Div 2 runaway leaders Neville Wears Prada but couldn't find the back of the net, Prada scoring twice to win 2-0. The Gym move above Roma into the promotion places as they impressed in a 5-0 win over Bacuna Matata, Josh and Olly with braces. Bottom side Sancho's And Cheese picked up their second win of the season as new captain Elliot Dwyer scored twice in a 3-2 win over Lads On Toure. Finally another close game saw Touch Matip edge a 3-2 win over Khedira Pin Drop.
