New season underway at East Cowes Sunday 6 a side!

We kicked off the new East Cowes Sunday 6 a side winter season last night at Queensgate Primary. We are delighted to welcome 4 new teams to the league and be able to expand to 2 divisions of 8 teams with promotion and relegation now back in play.

Murder On Zidane's Floor will hopefully be given a sterner test this season with 3 of the 4 new teams looking to start in the Premier League. Zidane's did get their campaign off to a winning start with a 15-6 victory against Aston Filla Wycombe, Chris Elliott with 7 strikes for the champions. Scouting For Goals who have recently moved from our Ryde league also started with a win as they defeated AC Me Rollin 7-1. The other two new teams also started with victories as 2X Grinding Champs won a thriller 10-7 against The Gym while Double Pogba and Koke won away to Mataz 8-4.

An Ash Groundsell hat-trick saw Muga installed as the early leaders in Div 1 as they defeated new boy's Six Offenders 8-1. Badder Roma are second after an opening day 7-2 win over We Lose Every Week, Ryan Savill with a brace. Khedira Pin Drop won 7-3 against Touch Matip as Brad Austin scored 5. Finally Nyash Wanderers enjoyed a 6-3 win against Sancho's And Cheese, Toby Southwell banging a hat-trick.
