Wet & Windy East Cowes Sunday 6 a side

It was a wet and windy Queensgate last night as match day 8 of our East Cowes Sunday 6 a side season took place. We did have a couple of teams away but the majority braved the weather.

Murder On Zidane's Floor remain top of the table Premier League after Hardly Athletic couldn't raise a full side so Zidane's took on Applepie Turnovers who's opponents Breddas weren't there. Bacon Sane and Mataz had a close game in the rain as Sane took the win 4-2 to stay two points behind Zidane's.

Gylfi Pleasures are Premier League bound as they won 8-2 against We Lose Every Week to stay 4 points clear at the top of Div 1. OFOB Strollers moved into the top two with a points match win with FC Union Street away. New team Tinchy 2.0 started with a bang as they defeated AC Me Rollin 11-6 while there was a 4-2 win for Vectis Rovers against Muga.

Div 2 runaway leaders Neville Wears Prada picked up their 8th win in a row as they beat a spirited Sancho's And Cheese side 8-3. Badder Roma moved into the second promotion spot with a 6-0 victory against The Gym. Lads On Toure move up to 4th as they won 12-3 against Touch Matip while Khedira Pin Drop are up to 5th with a 9-2 win over Bacuna Matata.
