Ringwood Monday 6-a-side Football League launched its new season in style yesterday with a series of thrilling matches in its Premier League division. The opening night was marked by high-scoring encounters, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit of the participating teams.


In the Premier League division, Trinitydads And Tobago faced a tough start, falling 8-1 to Metropolis Of Ringwood. Metropolis' star player, Lee Madgewick, put up a stellar performance, netting three goals and proving instrumental in their sweeping victory. Madgewick's hat trick crowned him as the Premier League's top scorer for the week.


Tribos Kids also opened their account on a positive note, defeating P Didier Drogba FC 4-1. Their aggressive game plan and strong defence helped them dominate the match.


On the other hand, StillGotIt FC took down Pathetico Madrid 8-3 in a high-scoring game. This match was a true testament to StillGotIt FC's attacking prowess and set the bar for the upcoming matches.


Arguably the most one-sided match of the night was 1 In The Pink against Ligma, with the former decimating the latter 8-0. Their dominant display set a strong precedent for the rest of the season.
