Monday 16th August - Stafford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Stafford Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent games played across both divisions.

Mark O Pirlo sealed the title in style with a game to spare this week as they thrashed Tekkerslovakia by an 8-0 scoreline to put themselves 3 points clear with only 2 to play for.  Similarly, Team Green secured second place with the same scoreline in their game against Its Going to Get Messi.  FC Staffs were 5-0 winners in the match against Shut The FA Cup in an impressive performance, whilst Rowley Park and BSD played out a seven goal thriller in a match which Rowley triumphed by 4 goals to 3.  

Jam FC's dominance of Division One continues right to the end of the season, as they recorded their 15th win from 17 matches with a 4-1 win over Who Ate All Depays.  VCFC also secured promotion with a game to spare as they recorded an impressive 3-0 win over Real Ale Madrid.  Giroud's Baguette were the big winners of the evening in Division One as they romped to a 7-1 victory over Inter Le Madams in the mid-table clash.
