Monday 17th May - Stafford Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Stafford Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches across both divisions once again. and some well contested matches played!

Mark-O-Pirlo remain top of the pile in the Premier Division and secured another victory this week as they won 2-0 against Neves Gonna Give You Up in fourth place.  Team Green leapfrogged this weeks opponents Ivory Toast into second place after a 5-2 victory with the two meeting this week.  FC Chippy were rampant in front of goal this week as they thrashed FC Staffs 9-1 in an unforgiving performance.  Elsewhere, there were wins for Braziliant and Tekkerslovakia, both of which scored five goals in the process.

There were no surprises in the top v bottom clash in Division One as Jam FC continued their perfect record, with a professional performance and 2-0 win against Real Ale Madrid.  BTB FC climbed into second place as they thrashed Halal United 6-0 and Who Ate All Depays drop to third after suffering a 3-2 reverse at the hands of Who Ate All Depays.  99 Problems closed the gap on Girouds Baguette to just a point after beating them 2-1, whilst VCFC secured a comfortable 3-0 win against Is Your Motherwell.
