Overall it was a good evening's football in the Stafford Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches except Jam FC who cancelled on the day for the second week running, they have now been removed from the league and replaced with new team Ajax Trees who we wish good luck going into their first fixture with us on Monday 25th October.
FC Chippy managed to get themselves back on level terms in the title race, as they recorded a superb 3-1 win over Team Green to move level on points at the top of the pile, there is still a substantial goal difference separating the two teams though.
Girouds Baguette suffered their first defeat of the season at the seventh time of asking. Real Ale Madrid ran out 1-0 winners in a thoroughly impressive performance which puts them just two points off the top. Rowley Park FC missed the chance to go top themselves as they played out a stalemate against BTB as neither side could break eachother down.
We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Stafford's premier provider of small sided football!
