The Stafford Monday 6-A-Side league kicked off its new season with a thrilling array of matches that saw some teams starting with dominant performances whilst others have some catching up to do, in what promises to be an exciting season in both divisions.

In Division 1, Ajax Trees set the tone with a commanding 5-0 victory over TESCO FC. The star of the show was undoubtedly Tom Millward who found the net thrice, making him the leading scorer of the division in the first week. His performance was a statement of intent that Ajax Trees are a force to be reckoned with this season.

Elsewhere in Division 1, Six Offenders edged past FC Bobbers 2-1 in a tightly contested match. However, the highlight was Le Saux Solid Crew's brilliant 8-1 trouncing of BTB FC, further setting the stage for the competitive season ahead.

Over in Division 2, Dalton Athletic's Ryley stole the show with a hat-trick, leading his team to a 9-2 triumph over She Was Only VI. His performance has set the bar high for other top strikers in the division.

Real Ale Madrid also got off to a flying start with a 5-2 victory over Brown Mouth FC. Meanwhile, in two closely fought contests, 5Akis narrowly defeated Wolla FC 2-1, and Interyournan scraped past Madeline Milan with a 2-1 win.
