7TH APRIL LEAGUE UPDATE FROM THE STAFFORD SUNDAY LEAGUE

Another excellent evening in the Stafford Sunday league although we did have a late cancellation from Sodge but we have already confirmed with their team captain that they will be back as normal for this Sundays fixture.

The Borrowers continue to lead the premier division by 2 points as they gained themselves a superb 6-3 victory over 3rd placed A12 in a highly entertaining attacking encounter. Their nearest rivals Casa Classix FC remain just 2 points adrift as they showed their class in defeating bottom side Werder Beermen by a scoreline of 7-0. ST15 Elite closed the gap on A12 to 1 point but still remain in fourth as they took full advantage in gaining a 7-2 victory over SPS.

Division one saw We Go Again hit the top as they took all the points by defeating Iforce 2-0, whilst last weeks leaders Meatheads FC fell to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Crouch Potatoes in a match dominated by both defences. Mandy FC moved themselves in to fourth place as they picked up a 3-1 victory over a determined AC Milford side who were unfortunate to come away with nothing.
