It was a good evening's football overall in the Stafford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being a second non-attendance from Pique Blinders who we have now removed and replaced in the league.
We are pleased to welcome new team Class on Grass to the league as a replacement for the above and we wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us on Sunday 21st November.
The Borrowers confirmed yet another title this week with two games to spare, as they were 5-2 winners over Boulty's Boys, this result coupled with Dalton Sixes 2-0 defeat against SPS confirmed the fact.
We Lose Every Week did the opposite to their name this week as they picked up their second victory since joining the league, an entertaining 3-2 win over Falcons Unathletic which will give them encouragement for the new season in a few weeks time.
Another new side to the league, Greyfriars picked up their first win in their second game this week, winning 4-1 over Paris Ganja Man, whilst Fugazi FC recorded their second win in a row, a narrow 1-0 over My Little Bony enough to secure the points.
The league is looking in great shape heading into the new campaign with some of the new arrivals in recent weeks looking competitive to say the least, making for an exciting new season when it gets underway in December.
