Sunday 1st September - Stafford Round-Up

It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Stafford on Sunday overall with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches across both divisions throughout the night.

The Borrowers remain top of the Premier Division comfortably, this despite suffering a 2-1 reverse (their first of the campaign) against Crouch Potatoes in a surprise result, it may not be enough to keep Crouch in the Premier Division but it is certainly a superb result for them.  Chicken Tikka Mo Salah close in on second place after their 4-2 victory over FC Underdogs saw them leapfrog their opponents and move a point clear of them.  

PSV Hangover edge ever closer to the Division one title after their 3-2 win over IForce whilst Exeter Gently's 12-0 thrashing of Wang Gang sees them in second position with a very healthy goal difference!  Coton FC are just a point off the promotion places after they won 4-0 against Boulty's Boys.
