Sunday 20th June - Stafford Round-Up

It was an excellent return to action following the one week break for the England Euro 2020 game as the Stafford Sunday league came back this week, with all teams in attendance for their scheduled games, the only exception unfortunately being The Boro who have been removed from the league immediately.  We welcome new team The Pique Blinders to the league this week as their replacement and wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us!

Last season's champions The Borrowers started this campaign as they mean to go on, as they ran out 9-0 winners against Bill's Babes in an entertaining game.  FC Underdogs also recorded an impressive first result of the season as they beat Dalton Sixes by 5 goals to 2.  Elsewhere there were wins for Exeter Gently, Class A's, Boulty's Boys and Expected Toulouse.

We wish all teams good luck heading into the games on Sunday 27th June with Stafford's premier provider of small sided football!
