It was a good start to the new season in the Stafford Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance apart from Chicken Tikka Mo Salah and Ruud Van Nipplejoy who had both cancelled with 7 days notice for this week but return as normal on 29th September.
We were pleased to welcome two new teams to Division One which filled the vacancies for the new season. La Masia won the battle of the debutants 4-2 against Teemu Pukka Pies.
Last season's Premier Division champions The Borrowers got off to another good start as they brushed aside FC Underdogs 5-1. Meanwhile newly promoted PSV Hangover suffered a 5-3 defeat against Crouch Potatoes in an entertaining encounter.
IForce were the biggest winners in Division One as they overcame Exeter Gently 4-0, whilst there were also wins for Boulty's Boys and Who Ate All Depays.
We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Stafford's premier provider of small sided football.
