It was a good evening's football in the Stafford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring a very late cancellation from I Force, who have now been removed from the league.
We are pleased to welcome new team 'We Lose Every Week' to the league as a replacement for the above, and we wish these good luck going into their first fixture with us on Sunday 31st October.
The Borrowers maintain their five point lead at the top as they edge ever closer to another title. They were narrow 3-2 winners over Paris Ganjaman this week in an entertaining fixture, whilst Dalton Sixes keep their place in second, as they were 2-0 winners over Boulty's Boys, a result which sees the latter drop to fourth place, overtaken into third by SPS who also won 2-0 against Falcons Unathletic.
My Little Bony leapfrogged their opponents this week as they recorded a convincing 3-0 win over Pique Blinders in the mid-table clash, to move up to sixth in the table.
