Overall it was a good evening's football in the Stafford Sunday 6 a side league this week. We were however disappointed to see two non-attendances. Paris Ganjaman have confirmed their return to the league on Sunday 7th November and we look forward to seeing them return. We have removed Six Offenders with immediate effect.
We are pleased to welcome new team Greyfriars to the league this week and we wish these the best of luck heading into their first fixture with us on Sunday 7th November.
The Borrowers and Dalton Sixes met this week in the battle of the top two. With a healthy lead at the top The Borrowers were happy with the goalless draw between the two which keeps them five points clear at the summit. Class A's move up to third place following their 4-3 win over Boulty's Boys, whilst SPS drop to fourth after a 2-2 draw against My Little Bony.
We Lose Every Week made their debut in the league this week having joined as a replacement for IForce. They look as though they will be a useful addition to the standard of team as they thrashed Fugazi FC by a 9-1 scoreline, they will have all eyes on next season after this encouraging result whilst using the next four games to get a feel for the other teams.
We thank all teams for their general reliability and commitment to the league and look forward to seeing everyone in attendance for the next round of fixtures.
