Sunday 3rd February - Stafford Round-Up

It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Stafford on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance across both divisions for the first week of the new season.

Paralympiakos won their opening game of the season in the Premier Division with a 5-0 win over last season's Runners-Up Brewery's in a surprise result.  Last season's champions The Borrowers were made to work hard for their win this week, they came out on top in an entertaining encounter, 3-2 the final score over A12.

The two teams promoted from Division One met in the season opener, Chicken Tikka Mo Salah ran out 3-1 winners of Kante Be Serious.

There were three new teams who played their first games with us this week in Division One.  Boulty's Boys started with a 5-0 friendly win in their opener, meanwhile Mandy FC were 4-1 winners over recently relegated AC Milford, and Pique Blinders were beaten 5-4 by Exeter Gently.
