WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE STAFFORD SUNDAY LEAGUE 12TH MAY

A good night on the whole in the Stafford Sunday 6 aside league held at Rowley Park Sports Stadium although we did have no shows from Madeline Milan and Pique Blinders. We have already been in contact with Pique blinders and they have confirmed that they will be back as normal for this coming Sunday. Madeline Milan have been removed from the league as we do not tolerate unreliable teams in the league letting everyone else down. We did speak to their team captain last week and he did confirm that they would be in attendance for this Sunday which simply was not true.

The league itself saw The Borrowers continue to head the premier division despite suffering only their second defeat of the season as they went down 4-0 at the hands of Sodge. A12 took full advantage of the leaders dropping points as they gained themselves an impressive 5-0 victory over ST15 Elite to move within 3 points off the top. Casa Classix FC remain in third place but lost ground on the top two as they went down 2-1 to 6th placed SPS.

Division one saw WeGoAgain hit top spot as they were gifted a 5-0 victory this week by Pique Blinders. Last week`s leaders, Meathead FC were held to a 0-0 scoreline by Iforce and therefore drop in to second place 1 point behind the leaders but 4 points clear of Crouch Potatoes who lie in third.

We currently have a couple of spaces available for an immediate start in this league. If you are interested in joining, please enter your team details online or get in contact on 0333 123 2340 if you require further assistance.
