In an exhilarating week 9 of the Lincoln Sunday 6-a-side Football League, there were some spectacular performances across all divisions.
In Division 1, The Cleaners and Road 2 Copper showed their supremacy with impressive victories. The Cleaners secured a 3-1 win against 29 SQN FC while Road 2 Copper overpowered Shakey United with the same scoreline. The Cleaners were led by star striker Jones who scored two goals, making him the top scorer of the division for this week.
Moving on to Division 2, there was no shortage of thrilling football action. Branston FC dominated Unathletico Madrid with a comprehensive 5-0 win. In another high-scoring match, Oldcastle UTD outplayed Fat Dads & Adam with a final score of 5-2. Branston FC's forward, Smith, shone with a hat-trick, making him the division's top scorer of the week.
Last but not least, Division 3 saw fierce competition with Just Put Matip In and Bonking Bishops both beaten narrowly. Just Put Matip In succumbed to Abcde Fc 2-1, while Bonking Bishops lost 3-2 against United We Stand. However, Aldi And Co stole the show with a crushing 5-0 victory against Dynamo Dawsons. Aldi And Co's striker, Taylor, led the score sheet with three brilliant goals, topping the scorers list for Division 3.
