In the high-octane world of local football, last night's games for the Lincoln Sunday League certainly didn't disappoint. Results from Week 2 of the season revealed an exciting turn of events in Divisions 1, 2, and 3 demonstrating the intense competition and the incredible spirit of these teams.

In Division 1, the spectators were treated to an edge-of-the-seat thriller between Fenerbackache and Road 2 Copper. Fenerbackache managed to edge past the competition with a narrow 2-1 victory, showing their mettle and determination.

Division 2 saw a trio of games that kept fans on their toes. Just Put Matip In found themselves outclassed by a skilled 29 SQN FC who emerged victorious with a 3-0 win. Fat Dads & Adam also managed a clean sheet, securing a 3-0 victory against Glass Ankles. In another exciting match, Rolling Back The Years showcased their fitness and experience, taking down Oldcastle UTD 2-0.

In Division 3, Branston FC put on an impressive display against Abcde Fc, with a final score of 5-2. The face-off between Bonking Bishops and Dynamo Dawsons ended in a fair 1-1 draw. United We Stand showed their unity and skill, clinching a 2-1 victory over Unathletico Madrid.

As for the top scorers, Branston FC from Division 3 took the crown with a mighty five-goal haul. Division 2's top scorers were 29 SQN FC and Fat Dads & Adam, both securing three-goal victories. Lastly, Fenerbackache and United We Stand shared the top spot in Division 1, each bagging two goals.
