In the final week of what has been a thrilling Ryde Thursday six-a-side football season, the Premier League division witnessed a flurry of fantastic goals, nail-biting finishes, and a tremendous champion crowned in the form of Crown FC.
The highlight match of the evening in the Premier League was between Manchester Obe City and Chamakh My Pitch Up. In a stunning display of skill and determination, the teams battled it out to a final score of 7-5 in favour of Chamakh My Pitch Up. This nail-biting game was made even more spectacular by the top scorer of the division this week, Matt Rowbotham, who netted four incredible goals for Chamakh My Pitch Up, marking a definitive end to his team's season.
In another fixture, Khedira Pin Drop III fell to Youth Offending Team, with a final score of 7-4. Despite their earnest efforts, Khedira Pin Drop III could not match the drive and skill shown by the Youth Offending Team who end their 1st season in a creditable 5th place.
Ivory Toast, meanwhile, outplayed Puyol Pants Down spectacularly, winning with a staggering 11-1 score. This game showcased Ivory Toast's undeniable prowess and their potential for the coming seasons.
In a closely contested match, Hardly Athletic narrowly defeated Vectis Rovers 4-3, to end the campaign in 3rd place.
Above all, the night belonged to Crown FC, who emerged as the undisputed winners of the Premier League division. With a total of 18 points and 9 wins, Crown FC showed their dominance and consistency throughout the season and are deserved champions again.
It's a double celebration for Crown striker Valentin Isac who rounds off a great season with the golden boot trophy having scored 20 goals. Two ahead of Matt Jackson and Kyle Follows who both end on 16.
The seasons MVP award for the most Player of the Match awards goes to Matt Jackson with 4 ahead of a collection of players who were given 3 MotM awards. Kyle Follows, Valentin Isac, Adam Jupe and Miles Longerinas all narrowly missing out.
