Last night's Ryde 6 a side produced some excellent performances across the two divisions which blew the title race wide open in the Premier League
The performance of the night goes to Chamakh my Pitch Up who came up against the leagues only ever champions Geezas Return. Chamakh dug in to secure a 4-4 draw with Josh Wotherspoon hitting all 4 while Jack Love and Craig Mason were on target for Geezas. This gave Salt & Pepe a chance to close the gap at the top to just a point and they did with a 4-2 victory over Hurrell's Return, two goals from Tom Radford couldn't prevent Pepe taking the points. Finally in the Prem there was a big win for Vectis Rovers who were on form to beat Getting On A Bit 8-1.
In Div 1 Roverners were in the goals with Rob Jackson and Terry Crow both bagging 7 each as the ran out comfortable winners against Raul Moat-dried. This mean's Roverners stay top with 8 points and a 100% record. Butlins Bandits remain their nearest challengers as they defeated Class On Ash 6-3 while Wight United climb to 3rd after back to back wins, this week they beat a slightly different Pensioner Owen side 11-2 with many of their usual line up away.
Thank you to all teams and see you next week.
