RYDE 6 A SIDE SIGNS OFF FOR CHRISTMAS

Our Thursday night Isle of Wight league completed the final games of the year on Thursday night with all but Goldies in action on a bitter cold night at Ryde Academy. Guns N Moses took a 5 - 0 win from Goldies absence while Puyol kept up their winning return to the set up with a 7 - 4 win over Ryde Galacticos to remain just a couple of points behind leaders Sat Fesh who also won again, securing a 5 - 1 win over Roverners. We also saw a 1st win for Kirbs Return thanks to 4 goals from Ryan McDowall to kick start their season with a 10 - 4 over Unathletico Madrid.  

Butlins Bandits head towards the new year top of Division One after ending the 2022 with a solid 5 - 2 win against Chamakh, Skipper Aaron Doncaster on target with 4 to keep his team ahead of the pack. Khedira lead the chasing group having secured a great 4 - 3 win against the early season leaders Milfcarters. Harry Scott & Danny Murphy each netting twice while Jack McCallum also bagged a couple for The Milfs. Vectis Rovers picked up a good 7 - 4 win against Grand Theft Porto and Hant's FC beat Royal Mail-Drid 6 - 2 to wrap up things for the year. 

Thank you to Nick and Pete for reffing our games again, both had an excellent night as always, this league is in a great place heading into 2023 with a brilliant group of teams all enjoying their games each week. We break now until January when we restart on Thursday 5th so please be ready for then.
