Despite the challenging conditions we were treated to a spectacular showdown across both the Premier League and Division 1 matches, with players showcasing their skills on the field and scoring some mind-boggling goals.
In the Premier League division, the evening was all about offensive firepower. Crown FC led the charge with a sensational 12-4 victory over Roverners. On a night where every strike seemed to find the back of the net, it was Patrick O’Meara of Crown FC who truly stood out. O’Meara, who was also declared the Most Valued Player of the week, single-handedly scored 3 goals, demonstrating his exceptional talent and vital role in Crown FC's victory. Puyol Pants Down didn’t disappoint either, delivering a resounding 12-6 win against Youth Offending Team. Meanwhile, Ivory Toast managed to secure a 4-2 victory over Hardly Athletic, further intensifying the competition in the division.
Over in Division 1, the intensity did not drop. An astounding 13-1 victory by Ryde Rovers FC against Chamakh My Pitch Up was matched by Wonkers who rose to the occasion to secure a thrilling 10-5 win over Khedira Pin Drop III.This week's results have created an electrifying atmosphere within the Ryde Thursday league.
