The closest night of 6 a side on record at Ryde Thursday!

The heavy rain throughout the day cleared and the teams produced a fantastic night of 6 a side football down at our Ryde Thursday night 6 a side league.

Not sure we have ever had a night quite like it with all matches ending in high scoring draws.

We start off with second against third as champions Geezas took on Chamakh My Pitch Up. Salt & Pepe's points match win due to Blue Ball being away meant Geezas needed to win to stay level on goal difference however Chamakh had other ideas and an excellent match ended in a 4-4 draw. Next we have yet another draw as Vectis Rovers took on Roverners with this one ending 3-3 as both teams fight for positions in the middle of the table. There was a first point of the season for Butlins Bandits as they continue to improve each week as they shared the points with Getting On a Bit in a 3-3 draw. Finally another great match took place as Class On Ash came from 4-1 down to draw 5-5 with Wight United with some OAP scoring all 5 for Class on Ash. Rolling back the years hey! haha
