Lot's of up and downs at our Ryde Thursday night 6 a side league at Ryde Academy. Even heard that Jukesy took a tumble in the Geezas/Salt & Pepe match.
Geezas Return remain at the top of the Premier League as Jordan Love scored 3 along with a couple from Ash Smith as they came through in the end against a strong Salt & Pepe team. Hot on their heels are Hurrell's Return who narrowly defeated Getting On A Bit 2-1 to keep themselves just a point behind the leaders. Roverners climb to third as they secured a 5-2 win against Butlins Bandits, Rob Jackson was back on the goal trail with a brace. This gives him 10 for the season, just 3 behind Jordan Love on 13. Finally it was end to end stuff in the game between Cool Runnings and Goldies as it ended in a 7-7 draw. Highlight was Billy Chugg hitting 4 for Cool Runnings while Dexter Collins matched him with 4 strikes for Goldies.
Moving swiftly on to Div 1 and Class On Ash suffered a shock loss which ended their 100% record this season and see's them drop to third. It was Chamakh that bounced back from being on the end of an upset last week to take the win against Ash 3-2 to get them off the mark for the season. We now have new leaders as Sat Fesh FC moved to the top of the tree with a good 7-3 victory against East Ryde Massive. Jack Murphy scoring a hatty. Men Behaving Chadli turned on the style in their clash with Raul Moat-drid as the ran out 11-2 winners. Tyler Randle netting an impressive 5 goals while Josh Kernot banged 4. Aiden Hall and Harry Plenty also got in on the action with one each. Finally 5 man Vectis Rovers proved to strong for Murder On Zidanes Floor as Gaz, Tony and Sam all notched goals in a 9-2 win.
