Great to see so many teams line up for our Thursday Night, Isle of Wight 6 a side league at Ryde Academy.
There were plenty of goals on show in the top flight as leaders Netsix and Chill dominated 3rd placed Vectis Rovers to bring their unbeaten run to a brutal end. Netsix bagged 15 without reply to open up a 2 point gap at the top. Ryde Rovers went down 8 - 2 to Sat Fesh and Goldies were undone by East Ryde Massive. Kyle Follows with 5 and Nathan Martin 3 as East Ryde won 13 - 1. High Park picked up a points win.
Division One saw Cool Runnings get the better of InterUrNan 13 - 1 Billy Chugg in fine form with 7 while Matt Trundle bagged a hattrick. Roverners won 5 - 3 over Chamakh, Jamie Meakin getting 3 and Ashton Villa overcame Salters FC 6 - 0, Steven Thorpe picking up a hattrick for The Villa. Finally Getting on a Bit secured their place at the top of the league with a tight 2 - 1 win over Butlins Bandits.
