What a night of action we had last night in week 4 of our Sandown Monday night season on the Isle of Wight. All 12 teams were in attendance as usual and we were treated to an absolute goal fest with over 80 goals being scored across the 6 matches.
In the top flight there was a 14 - 6 win for leaders JJFC over Two Girls One FA Cup while current champions Jehov took the points with a 15 - 3 win over Retros Ready For Yea. This was followed by a 12 - 4 win for The Six Offenders against Hold This Woodwork. Sonny Mulholland led the way with the goal scoring this week, netting 7 for The Six Offenders while Kyle Drew also got 5 for JJFC
Divison One also saw plenty of goals with Hardly Athletic winning 9 - 1 against Eye of The Tiger and Applepie Turnovers 5 - 1 against Make Emile Of It. The game of the night though was between Wet Dogs and Pukki Blinders with an absolute classic that eventually ended 7 - 6 to Wet Dogs, a result that keeps them level with Hardly at the top of the division. Pukki's Kyle Kilroy and Michael Smart of Wet Dogs both netting 4 for their teams.
So a great night of goals and thanks to all the teams for being there. Also big thanks to Chris and Jukesy for sorting the kick offs on the night. On to week 5 next Monday, have a great week
