It's great to be back! Sandown Monday 6 a side results!

The long wait is finally over, even if it's only for a week before the Christmas break it was still amazing to finally be back at Sandown Monday night 6 a side at Sandown Bay Academy.

We picked up the season with just two rounds of matches to play and last night the results went the way we expected to set up a title decider on 4th January between current leaders on goal difference Deportivo Lacafitness and reigning champions She Was Only XI. Deportivo had a 9-0 win over Eye Of the Tiger last night with Tony Potts banging 6 on top of goals from Ross Gregory, Darren Barsdale and Dave Heathfield. She Was Only XI had a points match win due to Green Army being away. 

In other results we saw two new teams take on each other as Moleicesters defeated Ashton Villa FC 13-4 , Jason Smythers hitting the back of the net 8 times for Moleicesters. In the closest match of the night Hogs Legends defeated Scouting For Goals 7-4 while there was a big win for Touch Matip who won 7-0 against HoopsIDidItAgain. A hat-trick each for Harry Mitchell and Luke Warde while Jody Lester chipped in with a goal too.
