JEHOV RETURN FOR 2023

After what seems like a long break from our games the Sandown league finally returned for our 1st round of matches of 2023. All our teams were there in force to burn off the festive bulk and we welcomed the return of former champions Jehov to the league. Bayley's side were on the waiting list to come in for the new season but Tekkerslovakia decided that leaving the communication chat and not responding to any calls or texts was ok so the team was removed freeing up a space for an earlier than expected return for Jehov. Typically their 1st game back saw them match up with old rivals and current champions JJFC who are in great form and maintained their 100% record with a good 10 - 6 win. Decent signs from Jehov though and great to have them back. Six Offenders won well against J Bashers while Retro's won an end to end game against Eye of the Tiger 9 - 6. The game of the night took place between Two Girls and Norfolk in Chance with the former just edging it in the end 6 - 5 but it was some effort from both teams who left it all out there to start the new year with a real bang. 

We are still on the hunt for a couple of new teams to get us into a position of being able to split into two divisions next season.
