In an exhilarating eighth and final week of the Sandown Monday 6-a-side Football League, the teams showcased a football feast that left everone on the edge of their seats. The league, divided into the Premier League and Division 1, witnessed some intense competition and extraordinary performances to wrap up a brilliant season of 6 a side.
In the Premier League, No More Cap FC claimed victory over JJ FC, concluding the night with a 5-3 win. This game was a classic example of offensive prowess, where the winning team was firing on all cylinders. JJFC were far enough ahead on points though to claim the Premier League Title so huge congratulations to them.
On the other hand, the Division 1 games were a testament to the thrill and unpredictability of football. Eye Of The Tiger outpaced Westys Wanderers by 4-3 in a tightly contested game. There was an overflow of adrenaline in the clash between Khedira Pin Drop II and Simply Sixtoes, where the former triumphed with a 7-3 score line. Pukki Blinders did enough to take home the Division One title this season, putting in some classy performances on the way to glory.
Our Golden Boot trophies go to Sonny Mulholland in the Prem and to Owen Connolly in Division one with Cory Sanderson of No More Cap being awarded the MVP for the season. Well played to all our individual prize winners on an excellent personal season.
