So good to have launched another brand new season in Sandown with 2 divisions of 6 kicking off on Monday night. We do have a surprise space to fill so if you are after a Monday night 6 a side experience on the Isle of Wight now is the time to jump in. Just £10 entry fees and you can start on Monday with just one game missed!
What a start we had to the season too with JJFC and Ashton Villa producing an absolute classic 5 - 5 draw. Aaron Youngson was amongst the scorers for Villa with two in an explosive match up that needed experienced eyes to oversee it. Champions Jehov got off to a poor start by their very high standards, going down 3 - 2 with goals from Sonny Mulholland proving decisive. Finding Timo had a 5 - 0 points win.
Into Div One where we have a good mix of experienced and brand new teams. Steeler Virginity started very well with a 3 - 0 win over LeaveMyArselona (What a team name combo that game is) while Retros Ready For Yea came away 9 - 3 winners from their match with Pukki Blinders, Billy Chugg finding good early season form with 6 goals. Finally there is Two Girls One FA Cup and their 8 - 3 win against Eye of the Tiger, hattricks for Frank Stuber and Ollie Frost for The Girls while Harrison Tindall got all 3 for Eye of the Tiger.
Thanks to Jukesy, Sean and Chris for managing the night so well, lets see how this season develops, and lets find a team to fill that final place.
