SANDOWN 6 A SIDE - MONDAY NIGHT ROUND UP

Our Monday Night 6 a side season in Sandown is progressing nicely now with all 8 teams in attendance last night for the 6th round of matches. Leaders JJFC carry on their merry way with a 6th successive win. Retro's fought hard though and gave the champions a real game, Matt Oatley's hattrick making the difference in the end as JJ's won 8 - 4 to maintain their 2 point lead over The Six Offenders. Both Sonny Mulholland and Ben Orton netted good hattricks for them in their 8 - 1 win over Eye of the Tiger last night as they aim to keep tabs on the leaders. Two Girls picked up their 2nd win and it was a big one, 13 - 6 the final score against our newest team BAJ FC while the final game of the night produced an absolute Leisure Leagues classic. End to end action between Riley's Rockets and Norfolk in Chance that resulted in an incredible 6 - 6 draw. Jack Lowe on fire for Riley's with 5 of his teams goals in a great game for both teams and the spoils being shared seems the fairest result. Well played guys and thanks to all our teams for being part of another good night at Sandown. 

The league will be on next week. England's game with Iran kicks off at 1pm so no reason to not play our games in the evening. Hopefully we will see everyone there. Good luck to everyone for their games.
