With just a few weeks to go in the season of 6 a side in Sandown it's looking like a 2 horse race for the title in the top flight while our Division One promotion charge is nearly complete for the top two in that league.
JJFC beat Jehov to enhance their chances of taking the premier league title again but a big win for Six Offenders has set up the show down next week between the top two. If Six Offenders can beat JJ it will go to goal difference in the final games of the campaign to determine who lifts the trophy. Both have tough final games so next Monday is crucial if Six Offenders have thoughts of taking home the medals. Guns N Moses have settled well into the season and definitely deserve a full go in the top flight so we will have to look at that when the season ends. Their 6 - 3 win last night against No More Cap gave them their 1st points having picked up a poor league position when they started.
The title race in Division One is still alive too with Two Girls just a couple of points behind Norfolk In Chance. Both sides won last night while Hayley's Comets had a great win over Gianfranco Elis to set things up nicely for the run in to the end of the season.
So we are nearly there with this season and it's been an exciting one so far. We are looking to grow this league again between seasons so if you have a side or are looking for something on a Monday night when the weekend football winds down just get in touch with Rob on 08538562547 or Rich on 07969731086 to run through how it works or simply register your team now and we will be in touch to get you set up.
The new season will start on 17th April as we have a bank holiday on the 10th. Get involved now and be ready for our new season in Sandown.
