Here's a look at all the results from our Sandown Monday 6 a side league at Bay CE School. Teenage Mutant weren't in attendance last night but will be back on the 6th September. All other teams took to the pitches for match day 3.
Jehov FC are top of the table as they made it three wins to start the season, picking up a points match victory on match day 3. They will be hoping to build on their first title last season with back to back trophies this autumn but it won't be easy with some strong teams in the league. Also with three wins from their opening three games are She Was Only XI and Tinchy Sneijder. She Was Only defeated Old McInnes 9-3 with Kyle Drew finding the back of the net 5 times, outdoing teammate Jordan Cook who netted 4. Sneijder won their game 4-0 against Ashton Villa FC with Harrision Taylor grabbing a hat-trick to add to Tommy Jackson's goal. Weekend On picked up a points match win as they played Jehov FC on the night in a friendly. The other two matches were close as Eye Of The Tiger beat Khedira Pin Drop II 5-3. Paul Cooper banging a hat-trick plus a brace from Harrison Tindall for Tiger while speed merchant Olly Lines smashed in a hat-trick for Khedira. Finally the closest match of the day saw The Crown Crew seal a 3-2 win over LeaveMyArcelona. Captain Jarred Fisher scored for the Crown along with Dwyer and Clinton while Allen and Campbell-Sutch got on the scoresheet for Arcelona.
Thank you to our teams and to Jukesy, Sean and Chris for reffing the night. See you all on the 6th September, remember there is no league on bank holiday Monday. Thanks Rich
