Sandown Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 11

In a thrilling week 11 of the Sandown Monday 6 a side Football League, teams in Divisions 1 and 2 battled it out fiercely on the pitch, showcasing their skills and teamwork.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, FC Seeds faced off against the Granit Shagger, with FC Seeds dominating the match to secure a 4-1 victory. Simply Sixtoes, despite a valiant effort, fell to the powerful Whitecliff Wallies with a shocking 10-3 scoreline. The highlight of the evening, however, was the Nitty Committee's commanding victory over Westys Wanderers. The Nitty Committee put on a robust performance, trouncing their rivals 7-1.


Kyle Jones of the Nitty Committee emerged as the top scorer of Division 1, netting an impressive hat trick that played a crucial role in his team's victory.


DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, the clash between JJ FC and Pukki Blinders was a nail-biter, with Pukki Blinders narrowly edging out their opponents 7-6. In another closely fought match, Sat Fesh FC and The Bees Knees ended the game in a 2-2 draw.


The top scorer for Division 2 was Patrick O’Meara of Sat Fesh FC who successfully found the back of the net twice.


The most valued player of the week was Aiden Beckley from Thunder FC. Beckley's remarkable performance and contribution to his team's success unquestionably earned him this honor. Beckley's determination and skill have been a critical ingredient in Thunder FC's campaign this season, and his recognition as MVP is well-deserved.


As the Sandown Monday League heads into its next week, teams eagerly await the unfolding drama and suspense on the pitch.
