Sat Fesh Champions of Sandown Monday 6 a side

Football enthusiasts across the island were treated to a competitive and adrenaline-fueled night in Sandown as the 14th week of the ever popular Monday 6 a side Football League came to a thrilling conclusion. The final matches of the season in both the Premier League and Division 1 heightened the energy, with teams vying for supremacy in their respective divisions.

In the Premier League, the Pukki Blinders crushed Eye Of The Tiger in a dominant 9-0 victory, demonstrating prowess on both ends of the field. The match between No More Cap FC and The Bees Knees ended in a 3-3 draw, as both teams refused to give the other any quarter. The clash between JJ FC and Unreal Madrid II saw the latter seizing the day with a resounding 10-3 win.

The Premier League Champions though are Sat Fesh FC, who finished on top with 23 points from 11 wins, a testament to their consistent excellence throughout the season. Congratulations to KJ and his team on a brilliant season. Mick Radic of Eye of the Tiger has recorded the most top flight goals with 16 so he takes home the golden boot. 

Over in Division 1, SGN FC topped The Dingle Berry's 14-8, while Whitecliff Wallies narrowly edged out The Stag in a thrilling 11-10 encounter. FC Seeds overcame Westys Wanderers with a solid 6-3 victory. Charlie Morris from The Stag emerged as the top scorer of the season with a remarkable 9 goals.

Division 1 was clinched by SGN FC, having amassed an impressive 25 points from their 12 victories. The team's dedication and teamwork were clear catalysts for their success. Meanwhile Charlie Morris of The Stag picks up the golden boot for his 28 strikes on goal this season. 

The league's Most Valued Player of the week was Ben Cutts from Whitecliff Wallies. Cutts' consistent performance and skillful play significantly contributed to his team's strong finish in the season.

The seasons MVP award is shared between Gaz Scott-Jackson of JJFC and Cory Sanderson from No More Cap with both players receiving 5 MotM awards during the campaign. 

As the final whistle of the season blew, the Sandown Monday Football League left the spectators with moments of intense competition, sportsmanship, and feats of individual brilliance. The wait now begins for the next season and more electrifying football action.
