Salisbury 6 a side football - WEEK 6 RESULTS

In the thrilling world of 6 a side football our Monday night league in Salisbury continues to deliver brilliant games and week 6 was no exception with all our teams showing up to do their best in securing crucial points. 

The Premier League is finely balanced with 4 teams now level on points following the 6th round of matches. Snowbunnies edged past Ice Hockey with a single Jacob Osmond goal the only difference between the teams this week. Lavvy 6's had a more comfortable night as they secured a 7 - 1 win over Pique Blinders while The Goofy Slugs had a brace each from Luke Arnold and AJ Davis to thank for their 6 - 2 win against Dad Bods.

Division One is led by Murder On Zidanes Floor who seem favourites for promotion now having edged past previous leaders SCS All Stars 4 - 3, Alex Simpson the man of the moment for Zidanes with a well taken hat trick to take his side 2 points clear at the top. Petra beat Barely Athletic 4 - 1 with Barely's bad night being heightened by an injury to inspirational leader Christian Harvey, we all wish Christian well for his recovery which will hopefully be quick and he can get back to scoring goals for his team really soon. The final game saw a 4 - 2 win for Backyard over Winless FC, Abdul on target with a couple to give Backyard the points that lift them out of the bottom two this week. 

So there we go, week 6 is a wrap and the tension only rises further in the Premier League, there is a huge 4 games left to see who will lift the league title, it's going to be exciting stuff there is no doubt about it.
