Salisbury Monday 6 a side news 2025-02-03

In the week seven of the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side football league, players were treated to a range of exhilarating matches that truly showcased the skills of the participating teams.

Division 1

The game of the week was undoubtedly between Queens Park Strangers and 2 Girls 1 Klopp. The latter team displayed a superior performance, securing a resounding 14-2 victory. The star of the match was Tristan Jones who singlehandedly scored seven goals, earning the title of top scorer in Division 1. In another Division 1 clash, SCS All Stars trounced Elite FC with a scoreline of 7-0.

Division 2

The most thrilling encounter was between Big Mac Tacklers and SDH Ultras. Despite the Tacklers' efforts, their 5 goals couldn't compare to SDH Ultras' nine. Anthony Vijayanathan of SDH Ultras was in top form, scoring five goals to become the top scorer of Division 2. Meanwhile, 50 Shades O Shea managed a solid 5-1 victory against Dad Bods. The closest match in this division saw The Goofy Slugs edge out Lads And Dads 3-2.

Seb Dawes from The Goofy Slugs was the standout player from this week’s games. His exceptional performance earned him the Most Valued Player title for the week. His contributions were instrumental in his team's victory and his performance set a high standard for the remaining games of the season.

As we head into the eighth week, teams will be looking to build on their performances and rise up their respective division tables as the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side league continues to deliver high-octane football action
