Salisbury Monday 6 a side news 2025-03-03

The Salisbury Monday 6-a-side Football League kicked off its new season last night, with players giving all their efforts to claim the first victories in what promises to be a thrilling run of games.

Division 1, 

Lavvy 6s Outclassed Valley 6s with a commanding 14-4 victory. Jack Vincent stood out as the star player of the match, contributing an impressive total of 5 goals to his team's triumph. Vincent's scoring prowess sets the bar high for the rest of the season. Other games in the division saw Big Mac Tacklers overcome The Goofy Slugs 4-2 and SCS All Stars defeat Elite FC 5-1. 


Division 2 

It saw its fair share of excitement too. Lads And Dads edged out Queens Park Strangers in a tight 3-2 victory, with Ian Webber scoring twice and taking home the title of Most Valued Player for the week. In another game, 50 Shades O Shea emerged victorious against Winless FC 6-3, while SDH Ultras were able to keep a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over Dad Bods.

Division 3

Team 1 dominated Blenders United, winning 5-0 in a one-sided match. Sam N Kids also found success, defeating Balatasaray 6s 3-0, while Deans Boys landed a narrow 2-1 win against Boscombe On Me.

As the season continues, all eyes will be on the teams as they strive for greatness, and on players like Jack Vincent and Ian Webber, who have already shown their capabilities on the pitch.
