Salisbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 12

In the heart-pounding 12th week of the Salisbury Monday Football League, the divisions witnessed some high-scoring victories and brilliant individual performances. Teams fought hard to secure their standings with just two weeks left in the season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Lavvy 6s marked their dominance with an impressive 6-2 victory over SCS All Stars. The match was highlighted by the stellar performance of Fin Roberts, whose outstanding contributions earned him the title of Most Valued Player of the week. Roberts' skillful play was pivotal in Lavvy 6s victory and proved once again why he is crucial to the team’s success. The Goofy Slugs secured a decisive 6-2 victory over Elite FC to keep them top!

DIVISION TWO

Switching gears to Division 2, the league saw an avalanche of goals from Hotspire FC, who defeated Winless FC with a staggering 15-2 victory. The team's phenomenal performance was largely thanks to top scorer Jordan Fisher, who netted a remarkable five goals, leaving us and opponents in awe.

In the top of the table Division 2 match, Petra FC carved out a 3-1 win against Backyard UTD, showcasing their tactical prowess and teamwork to leapfrog them to the top of the table.

With only two weeks left in the season, teams are vying to secure their places for the next season. The thrilling competition and promising performances of the players are sure to hold everyone's breath until the final whistle of this season.
