Salisbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 13

We returned last night for week 13 of the season at Sarum Academy for our Salisbury Monday 6 a side league.

In Division 1, teams battled it our in a series of friendly games with Lavvy's the team to watch. 

Switching gears to Division 2, the competition was intense with teams going head-to-head in an attempt to secure the top spot. Backyard UTD showed no mercy in their match against Dad Bods, clinching a triumphant 9-0 victory. Hotspire FC also exhibited an outstanding performance, outdoing Lads And Dads with a decisive 7-1 win. Amid the high-scoring games, Petra FC emerged victorious over Winless FC with a solid 4-1 win.

The star of Division 2 was undoubtedly Jordan Fisher of Hotspire FC, who exhibited a stand-out performance by scoring an extraordinary total of 6 goals, bagging the top scorer's title for the division.

However, the highlight of the week was Ifedayo Ibini of Petra FC. His exceptional performance on the field earned him the title of the Most Valued Player for the week. Ibini's display of skill, agility, and strategic acumen played a key role in Petra FC's success, leading them to a commanding win over Winless FC.

As the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side League progresses, the stakes continue to rise, and the competition grows fiercer. If the performances in week 13 are any indication, football enthusiasts can look forward to more thrilling action in the weeks to come.
