Salisbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 2

In the thrilling second week of Salisbury Monday’s 6-a-side football league, teams battled it out in Division 1 and Division 2 leaving us on the edge of our seats.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, an action-packed game between 2 Girls 1 Klopp and Elite FC showcased the competitive spirit of the league, as Elite FC narrowly triumphed 4-3. In the second match, Backyard UTD and Lavvy 6s settled for a 2-2 draw after a nail-biting match. Meanwhile, The Goofy Slugs made their presence known with a commanding 7-2 win over SCS All Stars.

DIVISION TWO

Over in Division 2, Dad Bods locked horns with Kinky Ballers, leading to a 1-1 draw while Winless FC clinched a tight victory against Lads And Dads with a 2-1 scoreline.

The week's most distinguished player was James Gumbrell from The Goofy Slugs. His performance on the field played a pivotal role in The Goofy Slugs' dominant victory, earning him the Most Valued Player of the week.

As the season continues, the intensity heightens. Teams from both divisions are showcasing their talent and proving that every match counts in the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side league. The football league looks forward to more exciting matches and outstanding individual performances as the season progresses.
