Salisbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 3

Week 3 of the Salisbury Monday 6-a-side Football League served up a thrilling spectacle under the floodlights, with goals galore, stunning upsets and a top-notch performances.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the most exciting match was between Elite FC and Backyard UTD. After a nail-biting clash, Backyard UTD edged past their rivals with a 4-3 victory. However, the most significant win came courtesy of 2 Girls 1 Klopp, who demonstrated their prowess by scoring five unanswered goals against SCS All Stars. Lavvy 6s also had a notable performance, racking up 11 goals against The Goofy Slugs who managed to net three times.

The standout player in Division 1 was Alex Simpson from 2 Girls 1 Klopp, whose hat-trick helped secure the win for his team and placed him on top of the division’s scoring chart this week.

DIVISION TWO

Over in Division 2, Lads and Dads dominated 50 Shades O’Shea with an impressive 15-1 victory, thanks largely to the extraordinary performance of Ian Webber. Webber scored a total of five goals, making him the top scorer in Division 2 this week. Meanwhile, Winless FC secured a solid 4-0 win against Kinky Ballers, maintaining their unbeaten streak to remain top.

The most valued player of the week was Adam Davies from Winless FC, whose performance on the night was nothing short of spectacular. Davies was instrumental in his team’s victory and his contribution did not go unnoticed.

As we approach week four, the competition continues to heat up, and if this week’s action is anything to go by, we can expect more thrilling football in the weeks to come.
