In an electrifying week 7 of the Salisbury Monday Six-a-side Football League, teams from Division 1 and Division 2 battled it out on the pitch, showcasing skill, strategy, and the spirit of competition.
In Division 1, the standout match saw The Goofy Slugs outclass SCS All Stars with an impressive scoreline of 6-1. The star of the match, Luke Arnold from The Goofy Slugs, was in sensational form, hitting the back of the net twice to become the top scorer for this division of the week. Arnold's performance, filled with finesse and sheer will, pushed his team to their emphatic victory.
Switching gears to Division 2, it was a week filled with high-scoring matches. Petra FC delivered a stellar game, thrashing the Dad Bods 10-1. Ifedayo Ibini, the Petra FC striker, stole the show with a phenomenal four-goal haul, making him the top scorer of Division 2 for the week. His exceptional performance on the field also earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
In other Division 2 games, Backyard UTD scored a resounding 6-2 victory over Lads And Dads while Hotspire FC edged past Pique Blinders 2-1 in a tightly contested match. Winless FC also put on a dominant display, defeating The Misfits 8-1.
