Stevenage Monday Football League Ends with a Bang
The final week of the Stevenage Monday Football League was an exciting one, with the Premier League division providing some particularly impressive results. With the season now officially over, we can announce the winners of each division and the top goal scorers who helped lead their teams to victory.
In the Premier League division, The Pig had an outstanding season, winning all but one of their games and finishing with a total of 16 points. Their final game of the season was a resounding 13-0 victory over Band of Brothers, demonstrating just how dominant they have been throughout the season. Goal Diggers also had a strong season, finishing in second place with 10 points, followed closely by Bench Warmers with 9 points.
The top goal scorer in the Premier League division was John Smith of The Pig, who scored an impressive 14 goals over the course of the season. His outstanding performance was a key factor in his team's success and helped them secure their place at the top of the table.
In the other divisions, congratulations go to FC Dynamo who won Division One with an impressive 15 points, and to the Blue Thunder who won Division Two with 12 points.
