Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In an electrifying week six of the Shrewsbury Monday Football League, teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 faced off on the pitch.

In the Premier League Division, fans were treated to a high-scoring match with FC Back of The Neto taking on Tony's Tigers. Despite a valiant effort, FC Back of The Neto couldn't keep up with the offensive onslaught of Tigers as the Tigers roared to a 6-3 victory. This win was propelled by the phenomenal performance of Carl, who netted four goals thereby earning himself the title of the top scorer in the Premier League Division this week. Further goals from Alban and Josh were enough to see off Neto who grabbed their goals through George and a double from Chris.

In the division's second match, SVR saw off WBS in a closely fought 2-1 victory. Goals from Jack and the prolific Eddie were enough to take the spoils with Josh replying for WBS.

In Division 1, Barely Athletic demonstrated their recent upsurge in form in a one-sided contest against new boys Saloppy Seconds. Spearheaded by Kaden's four-goal tally, Barely triumphed in a resounding 7-0 victory with Dec and Josh also netting. Seconds will no doubt take some time to adapt having only joined the league last week.

In another Division 1 fixture, Hardly Athletic emerged victorious over TK Maxx Club De Futbol with a 5-3 win. The game was an end to end affair as goals from Ewan, Joe and a hatrick from the hugely impressive Kieran Fielden secured the victory for the league leaders. TK Maxx played well with goals from Sam and fine double from Toby but were just edged out in this one.

FC Shrewbacca and Halfway Wanderers ended their clash in a 1-1 draw, showcasing the competitive spirit of Division 1. Goals from Aiden and Golden for Halfway and Shrewbacca respectively ensured the match ended in stalemate.

As the season progresses, the competition continues to heat up with players and teams demonstrating their footballing skills and competitive spirit. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates from the thrilling Shrewsbury Monday Football League.
