Another Terrific Night of Action at Shrewsbury 6-a-side

Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling world of Shropshire local football, week 3 of the Shrewsbury Monday 6-a-side Football League gave spectators plenty to cheer about. The week was packed with hard-fought matches and exceptional individual performances.

In the Premier League, the night belonged to FC Back of the Neto, who edged out SVR in a closely contested encounter that ended 1-0. The win was largely due to the heroics of Harry, with his solo goal. His performance was crucial to the team's success on the night.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, El Athletico was a one-sided affair as Hardly Athletic dominated the field with a whopping 12-0 victory over Barely Athletic. This impressively large margin of victory was highlighted by Eliis and Kieran's stunning performances.  Both players found the back of the net four times on the night with further goals from Ryan, Adam and a double from Tom.

The evening's friendly matches saw impressive wins for Tony's Tigers, Halfway Wanderers and impressive new side TK Maxx Club De Futbol.

As we move forward into week 4, Tony's Tigers sit top of the Premier League by a single point from resurgent WBS (Wilfred Bony Society). In Division 1, Hardly Athletic lead the way in the battle for promotion with Halfway Wanderers tucked in just behind. The heat is on for the teams to keep up their momentum or make a comeback. One thing is for sure, though, the Shrewsbury Monday 6-a-side Football League is shaping up to be a season to remember.
