In the evening's friendly match, Ternhill Rangers faced off against new boys Bumfica with Bumfica securing a 4-1 victory.
Meanwhile In Division 1, FC Shrewbacca fell just short against relegated SVR, with the latter securing a 2-1 victory. Goals from Jack and captain Alex secured SVR the victory in a full bloodied affair with Shrewbacca replying through Luke. "The Bacca Boys" battled to get back into the game but couldn't find an equaliser. Both these sides will look to make a promotion charge this season.
In the evening's second match, Passion FC's played out a convincing 4-0 victory over Halfway Wanderers. Spearheading the triumph was Rob of Passion FC, who scored an exceptional total of 3 goals, setting a high standard for the rest of the season. Halfway had chances of their own but ultimately could not break down Passion's defence.
