In the Premier League, Passion FC narrowly edged out FC BACK OF THE NETO with a 2-1 victory. The match was filled with tactical play, creating a nail-biting atmosphere for the spectators. Well taken strikes from Carmen and player of the match, Will were enough for victory with Charlie grabbing a goal back for Neto.

Sports enthusiasts were treated to an action-packed week of football as week two of the Shrewsbury Monday league unfolded, with thrilling matches across the Premier League and Division 1. Both divisions experienced tight contests, showcasing the competitive spirit of the league.

Despite the tough opposition, Hardly Athletic managed to pull off a commendable 3-1 victory over TK Maxx Club De Futbol allowing them to keep up their 100% record at the start of the season. A double from the impressive Nathan Davies and a goal from Tom were enough to secure the points with Robbie striking back for TK Maxx.

In tightly contested match between WBS FC and Tony's Tigers, WBS managed to grab an exceptional 2 1 victory thanks to 2 goals from the dangerous Max. Champions Tigers had much of the play and grabbed a goal back through Alban but could not find a way past inspired keeper Don the Don to score the equaliser .The result leaves Tigers winless from their first 2 and with a battle on their hands to retain their title. It was a fantastic confidence boost for WBS and they will look to take their momentum forward into the coming weeks.

In Division 1, Barely Athletic dominated the pitch against Halfway Wanderers, securing a 3-0 win. Goals from Jack, Harry and Dec gave them a well deserved victory. Halfway created numerous good chances but could not find the net on this occasion.

Manj Dog kept up their impressive start with a 2 0 victory over FC Shrewbacca. A Clinical double from the exceptional Jack Davies was enough to secure the points in an all round strong performance.

In the evening's final match, KFC managed to outscore Saloppy Seconds in an entertaining end to end battle. The match finished 3 2 with goals from Jay and a brace from Ant enough to grab the win for KFC.  The ever-dangerous Lewis scored 2 goals in reply for Saloppy in a match that could have gone either way.

As the Shrewsbury Monday league continues, fans and players are gearing up for more football action and memorable performances in the coming weeks.
