It was a brilliant week of action in our Shrewsbury Monday League which saw our league champions crowned! 

In the Premier League division, it was FC BACK OF THE NETO who ultimately claimed the Division title, finishing with an impressive 13 points from 6 victories.  a huge congratulations to FC Back of the Neto who secured their first league title by the finest of margins as they beat league debutants Ellesmere Rangers 3-2.  Runners up Tony's Tigers defeated Passion FC in a thrilling 6-3 victory. A solid display of defensive tactics was shown between Hardly Athletic and WBS FC, with neither team managing to find the net, ending the match in a very rare goalless draw.

In Division 1, Jock Itch Fc were very impressive a stunning 9-0 victory against FC Shrewbacca. Halfway Wanderers and KFC played out a 1-1 draw, highlighting the competitive nature of the league. The laurels of top scorer in Division 1 went to Michael from Jock Itch Fc, who netted an astonishing five goals.

However,  it was Manj Dog who emerged as the champions of Division 1, completing an unbeaten season, amassing an incredible total of 19 points from 9 wins and 1 draw.
